Another Year of Impressive Growth for Irish IT Company

Network integration specialist achieves growth rate of 25% in 2015 as it releases its annual results

Agile Networks, the largest independent network integrator in the country, recorded another year of impressive growth with a 25% jump in revenues for 2015, bringing its overall revenue over the €9 million mark for the first time.

The company, which released its annual results for 2015 today, designs, builds and supports IT networks across 1,600 sites and supports 1.8 million end users. It has over 100 major customers, including 16 of the top 25 Internet Service Providers in Ireland.

Having completed its fourth full year of operations since a management buyout in 2011, Agile Networks, who employ 18 people at its Headquarters in Blanchardstown, has successfully grown its revenue from under €1 million in 2011 to over €9.2 million in 2015.

Speaking about the enviable growth rate they achieved in 2015, Managing Director Darragh Richardson said:

“We are very pleased with our performance and to have achieved a higher than forecasted growth rate of 25% means that we’re now the biggest independent network integrator in the country.”

Darragh went on to say:

“This impressive growth was mainly driven by demand for design, build, and support services which grew by 42% over the previous year.” He explains that: “We offer our customers a unique ‘focal engineer’ model which is a significant move away from the traditional ‘break/fix’ model of support. This model offers a much more proactive managed service and it is this shift that appeals to our customers.”

Agile Networks grew its customer base by 38% last year, with major new contract wins that included Dublin City University. That particular project saw Agile Networks update the university’s 15-year-old IT infrastructure, for their 16,000 students and 1,600 staff members. Other contract wins included the National University of Ireland Maynooth, the Aviva Stadium in Ballsbridge, the Galway Clinic, Inex and Hibernia Atlantic.

2015 also saw the company achieved significant new accreditations such as becoming a Diamond Partner with Extreme Networks, and Gold Partner status with both Palo Alto and F5 Networks. Agile Networks also became one of only five companies in the high-tech sector to achieve Continuous Professional Development (CPD) accreditation from Engineers Ireland.

This multi-award winning company has already built up an impressive trophy cabinet of awards and they have won many industry accolades. In 2015 Agile Networks were named the 7th fastest growing company in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards.  Darragh Richardson was also a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards in 2015. They are one of nine firms in Ireland competing at the 2015/2016 European Business Awards, with the winners due to be announced in Milan this June.
